This morning Jon gave Jonah a hug and said, "See you later, Joe, I have to go to work now."
Jonah replied, "Daddy, you're my best friend."

It got cold in the house today so I put on a sweater from the coat closet. When Ava saw me come back to sit down she touched my arm and said, "Cool, Mom."

Most of the cousins and babies! Jon, Tobi, Stew with baby Jacob, Elisabeth with Ava, then Simeon, Erin with baby Judah, and silly Jonah hammin it up! 

We went to Kelowna, B.C. for a few days! This is driving home--we were tired after a fun weekend!

Jonah: Look, Nana! I have a big owwie right here (points to his knee).
Nana: Wow--that is a big one! How did you get it?
Jonah: I was running in the driveway and I fell down and it was TOTALLY bleeding.

Jonah: Daddy, when I grow up and be a Daddy I am going to have a Chevy truck, too!

Tonight Jon's uncle Ernie gave Jonah a model of a Gullwing Mercedes--Jonah was so excited he is sleeping with it!
Jonah: Hey, Mom! You should ride in my new Mercedes!
Elisabeth: But I can't fit in there, Joe.
Jonah: Yeah, it would be squishy! (giggle, then...) You would very break it. And I would be sad cuz Ernie gave me this car cuz he loves me.

Gammie and Papa Mel are visiting this week from Cali and we did an easter egg hunt (a little late) at home with the kids.  

Playing "Beauty Parlor" this morning...don't we look good?!?! Jon was not thrilled that I did that to Jonah's hair!
