Papa Mel with baby Norah. Ava said, "There's Papa Mel in his BLACK outfit. Is he wearing his buggy shirt?"
Jayden with his new baby sister.
The Busch family with the newest addition, Norah Renee, born yesterday at 3:20pm. Ava saw this pic and said, "Auntie Jamie is holding TWO babies!" Posted by Picasa

Our world covered in about 3 inches of snow --check out the side steps to the porch--Just one big ramp of snow. This snow isn't going anywhere for a while...it's only supposed to be 36 today and perhaps some freezing rain or more snow tonight. Portland shuts down with this much snow: schools and businesses close, we couldn't even get a gas delivery yesterday, and last night tried two different Red Robin's to eat dinner (the kids love Red Robin) which were both closed...we just aren't used to having snow! (But it's really fun when we do) Posted by Picasa
E with kids--it's still snowing! Ava's eating snow ("I'm hungry for snow!")
Ava trying to catch a snowflake on Daddy's shoulder's...out for a walk...

Snow in Portland! It started snowing in the early morning and stopped by 8 am, then the sun came out and the wind was calm, so Ava and I decided to walk down to our friends Tonya and Jolie's house.

Jon's still smiling after working ALL DAY to install our new dishwasher! He had to drill under the existing cabinets to allow the hoses to get to the water line, and installed a new electrical outlet for the washer as well. No more rolling our old "Dishy" around, as we called her. In fact, we already sold her on Craiglist! This was our anniversary present to ourselves and I'm so blessed to have such a handy husband who really enjoys doing these kinds of projects for us. Now we just need to get "crackin" on the rest of the kitchen!
