Jonah's 5th "Super-Hero" Birthday Party was yesterday. We had 6 boys from 3-6 years old here and afterwards Jon and I were VERY tired. :)

Ava told me yesterday, "Din-do-rewwa (Cinderella) is waiting for the Prince to come and kiss her!"

Just experimenting...Ian Durias told me about this collage thing...kinda neat. 

Saturday night Jon and I rented "Batman Begins" and after we put the kids to bed, we sat in the bonus room (next to the kids bedroom) to watch it. About thirty minutes into the movie, Jon fell asleep, so I'm watching this dark, kind-of creepy movie by myself.
"Humph." I vaguely heard a noise behind me...
I watch more of the movie.
"Humph!" Now that was definately a noise...
I stand up, slowly turn around, and it's JONAH laying on his tummy, watching the movie!
As I was putting him back in bed he says, "Momma, why did that little boy's mommy and daddy die?"
Geez!! That was at the beginning! He had watched an hour of the movie without us knowing!

Last night as we were putting Jonah to bed he said, "Mom, I'm sooooooo thirsty. I feel all empty inside. "

OKAY--so as I was publishing that last post, Jonah just ran into the office and yelled, "Mom! I have to show you something that will make you REALLY happy! I put all the clothes back on the little dolls that Ava tore off!"

I bought Ava a Christmas present yesterday, and as I was transporting it from its hiding spot in the garage to one in the house:
Jonah: Mom, did you buy me a Christmas present, too?
Elisabeth: Um, no. But even if I did, you wouldn't be able to open it until Christmas. But your birthday is soon!
Jonah: So then I can open the presents?
Elisabeth: Well, not your Christmas presents, but your birthday presents.
Jonah: But, Mom, it's hard to wait! Christmas is like a MILE away!

Sunday afternoon we got a pizza for lunch/dinner. I guess Jonah didn't clue in that we got one, cuz after we picked it up, he said, "WHAT is that DELICIOUS smell that I LOVE?!"

Our three dress-ups: Ava was "Tinker-Bell (all day she kept saying: "You know Tinker-Bell is a butterfly?"), Jon the midget, and Jonah was Davey Crockett. 

Davey Crockett didn't have great oral care.

Jonah had fun playing all the games about 10 times each. 

By the end of the night Ava had eaten all her candy and was now the "white-trash" Tinker-Bell Fairy princess covered in chocolate. 

Twins by accident-Jolie and Ava were both fairy-princesses (more like opposites--check out Ava's belly-size compared to Jolie's!) 

Our dear friends' baby, Miriam Griffin--what a cutie!
