Ava is starting to say really cute things and I have to write them down before I forget any more of them!
She couldn't fall asleep a few nights ago, so when I went in to check on her, she said, "I need lots of kisses."
Then, this morning she said, "Mom, you not a girl, you a Momma!"

Jonah and Aidan's first sleepover for either of them (for fun). Good Times.

Having grown up with three older sisters, this is not the type of play that went on at our sleepovers:
Jonah: "Aidan, Save Me! There's a shark!"
Aidan: "Alert! Alert! I will save you!"
Jonah: "It's an avalanche! Right here! HURRY!"
Aidan: "Are you DEAD?!"
Jonah: "Grab on, Son! I'll save you! Hey, Aidan, let's play PIRATES now!!"

The kiddos also love the "fort" above Jonah's bed where they can hide-out!

We are experiencing technical difficulties...I have to get a new cord to download pictures onto the cpu. So in the meantime:
We are in our house!!! (and still getting settled/unpacking)
The kids are really enjoying the yard, except it's been the coldest February in like 20 years here, so they stay out for about 5 or 10 minutes, then come in for hot cocoa. (Hey--maybe they go out just to get the hot cocoa).
The best part: We left church last night at 8:30 and got home at 8:35 (it took an extra few minutes cuz we got stuck waiting for the Max train to pass--heehee).

On the way to town the other day I taught Jonah how to count to 100. He was so stoked, he counted from 1 to 100 at least 15 times in a row.
Then, on the way home later:
Jonah: 99, 100 . . . 101, 102, 103, 104, 105! Mom! I can count all the numbers in the whole world!

Our new house in undergoing some work--just refinishing the wood floors and painting some rooms. Below are some pics of this process. Unfortunately they did not post in the order I put them. (Sorry about that) Hopefully we can move in next weekend!! Yippee!
