Our friend's son got married this weekend (we remember when he was 12!) and we got to go up to TCBC (where Jonah went to camp) for the beautiful outdoor wedding. Congratulations Alec and Vera!
This was the first wedding that Jonah and Ava remember attending and they were in awe! Now they both tell me that they want to be IN one (any takers?!). Ava thought the bride was beautiful (she was) and Jonah really enjoyed the chocolate. This was Leire's first American wedding and she couldn't believe it was outdoors ("only in a church in the Basque Country"). She loved the chocolates and the cake (two pieces) and even though Jon kept trying to trick her that the birdseed was for humans and that the mayo packet was dessert ("Just squish it into your mouth") she really had a wonderful time and so did we.

It was cold in the shade so I was snuggling with Ava and Audrey ("Rosie") for a bit.

It would have been so nice to see you, and any other Northridge-ites who were present, but we missed it *sniff* because all 4 of us got a nasty virus.
