Jonah's "Rock On Recital" 2010

Jonah and Jon rocked the house at his recital this past Sunday! We are so proud of him and all his hard work! All the students played rock songs and they were all involved in a huge medley of about five songs at the end of the performance. And in case you're wondering...yes, he was dressed up like a Beatle! We were also so thrilled to have Gammie and Papa Mel represent, as well as The Durias and Griffin familias! Thanks for coming guys!

We were blessed to be there. I have to say how impressed I was with Jonah and the whole recital. Note how he looks at the audience several times during the song. He was the only player to do that! Obviously he was relaxed. Of all the kids who performed, About 25-30 of them, Jonah's applause rivaled the best, kids who were much older. Of course.... we were yelping and cheering helping that happen. Hurray for Jonah!!! jI miss you little dude.

I wish the words: I'm so proud of you were enough...You are unimaginably talented....what a gift you've been given.
And when I see things like this I realize how much I miss you...wish i'd been there, too. Love you lots and lots. Maybe you and your dad can play a little for us when we visit.
AND...how proud Jon must be to play with his son like that....another gift!
okay...I'll stop before I write a whole post myself.

Wow! He's really good! And he had it all memorized, too. Amazing! (I like how the guy in the middle is wearing shades. :))
