Jonah got it into his noggin that he would eat ten (count 'em) hotcakes.
This was not condoned or pre-approved by his mother.
He was not happy at the prospect of eating ALL of them once his mother found out.
We are unsure if he will recover. As for the pancakes, they're history (yes, he ate them all).

did he eat lunch? snacks? i'll force,err-- make a game with my kid to eat 10 if it makes them not want snacks all day!
Sometimes you have to let them do dumb things so they'll believe you when you say something's not a good idea. One October, when Tobias was about that age, he insisted he wanted to jump into our neighbor's 52 degree swimming pool. We let him... :)
