Ava's Birthday!
Ava turned five last Tuesday! She was begging for a "Super Mario" Party and as you can see we turned the house into Super Mario World complete with a Coin Land and had games, cake, and a Yoshi Egg Hunt outside in the freezing cold. Ava is so excited to be five (anyone know where she gets that?) and can't wait for her first sleep-over with best bud Paige.
It was really fun--all I can say is three birthdays in eight days--Phew!

happy birthday ava! You are the best 5 year old i know!! I hope you had a great day, of super mario and presents. i love you and wish i could give you a big birthday hug. maybe since your 5, you could start your own blog. who knows, your mom and dad might have a computer genius and not even know it...

you know i missed being there...i can't believe our girl is 5. i just re-watched the video i took when i was visiting, telling her that she was skipping 5 and going straight to 6. it was so cute...
