Welcome to Cherry Blossom Worm Farm!
We are thrilled you came by.
There are lots of worms to feed and lots of holes to drill for their new abode, but we have a little "mini Jon" for that!

"Have you met..."
"my little friend?!"
That's his line when he walks around in this get-up.
I'm happy my "big boy" still isn't so big that he won't play things like this...It makes me happy.

Downy Dunk
"Rebecca" and "Cherri-Emma" had some problems with their hair.
It was too frizzy.
So, their owners put them in Downy for 24 hours.
This is supposedly the cure for frizzy doll hair.
Unfortunately, it wasn't. . .
But it does make for some funny photos!

Just A Few Random Things
I made this B. Well, I covered it with bookpages. I like how it turned out!
Then there's Boo in the car. What a silly girl. Notice the barbies in their "sleeping bags" on her lap.
Next, a fun evening with Nana and Poppops!

PINTEREST PEOPLE!!!
I'm dying over Pinterest. Seriously don't know why I didn't join long ago when I first heard of it...oh, prob something to do with feeling like I was being pulled in five different directions and not wanting to take the time to learn something new. But, oh! The wonderful works of Pinterest! I am so ecstatic to have a place to organize all those lovely images I come across on the WWW but never can remember where or what exactly. It took Jon leaving and going to Alaska for a week and me being bored enough to paint the stairwell, weed the yard (almost the whole 1/2 acre), make a bazillion cookies, watch four movies (2 of which were with Tonya--what a pal), and run out of books to read before I remembered! PINTEREST! and I'm never looking back.

Off to Alaska!!
Joe flew by himself last week for the first time! He met his two boy cousins (Jayden and Micah) in Seattle and they flew to Alaska to spend two weeks with Papa Mel and Gammie at their property. The house isn't livable yet, so they are all in the fifth wheel for now. So far he's caught a fish, seen a moose, explored an airplane wreckage (from the '50s) and gotten reacquainted with his cousins.
Camping
We took off for the beach for a couple nights last week--love that beach camping! It was beautiful but windy the first two days down at the shore. We had a lot of fun!

Abram's New Look
He would walk around with these goggles on forever (if I let him) and cries when I take them off. What a Goo!

What's Goin' On Tuesday
Uh oh, looks like someone got into some drawers, someone else forgot to fold the laundry, another someone is peeved that her hair isn't "done" and I'm taking pictures, and lastly someone's taking a rest.
Life as we know it.

What's Goin' On
I've decided to start a segment. Regular blogging? You say. Well, yes.
Hopefully.
What's Goin' On will represent my best intentions about blogging our everyday life. But just on Fridays...
Who knows who wants to see this, but maybe those grandparents will like the pics of the kids at least ;) rules? No straightening rooms, no eliminating clutter, no posing. This is how we live, for better or worse. Lots o' lovin and lots o' messes!
pics top to bottom (we say bum): An abandoned clue game. The lonely living room. The Corner with our empty frames hung (I thought Bepo may want to see her table represented!). A little boy (10 1/2) and girl (8) who are LOVING no school time to interfere with their playing of Calvin and Hobbes.
Happy Friday!

Test Scores!
We're so proud of Jonah and Ava! Joe scored 99th percentile and Ava scored 91st!! That means they scored higher than that percentage of kids in that grade. Woot!!!
