A Castley Cake

Bitty Baby Brynney turns Big

I cannot believe it. Say it isn't so.
Little itty bitty baby Brynney--our smallest, and yet perhaps most precocious of all--has now turned the old age of 4! This is the age Ava was when Brynne was born...and she seemed so big to me.
Brynne is a tender, sweet, exuberant little one and she fills our lives with joy (and yes, pain at times) but the pain makes the joy that much sweeter. Kinda like those salted chocolates I like...

Somebody Turned 34...

And it's not the cutie pies on the right!
Seriously had such a beautiful birthday. Jon and the kids spoiled me!
Went to Deschutes for dinner--my oh my I love their Abyss but alas, they were only in bottles...at $12/each! Settled for Obsidian on nitro instead and didn't look back. Their food is incredible too--everyone loved it and we had a nice fam time.
(Jon gave me a gorgeous necklace so Brynne wanted one of her own--she took the ribbon from the box and check her out)

Abram had his first birthday and his first party! We did a BBQ at Blue Lake Park and had so much fun celebrating with everyone.

Ava's Tea Party

Ava had her birthday party last weekend. We had 13 girls here aged 10-4. This was one of the tables (check out Ava's zoned-out smile)

Opening presents! The girls were so cute all dressed up and each brought a stuffed animal or doll as a special guest (all Ava's stipulations). Happy 6th Birthday Avie-Lou! (we're happy the week of birthdays is done!)

A Few Birthdays...

Ava is now SIX! I can hardly believe that it's been six years since this little girl was given to us! She is a joy to be around, says really funny things, and loves all things girly. Here she is hugging her new Hello Kitty blankie she got for her b-day.

Brynne is now TWO! She's a dickens with a strong will that defies even the toughest discipline sometimes but we are praying that she lets the Lord use that endurance for His will as she grows. (Oh, and she was copying brother "Do-do" biting his nails as seen below)

Jonah had a lot of fun eating cake and was a wonderful sport for all the birthday celebrations.

It was also my birthday last week! I am now too old to be asked how old I am! (J/K, I'm 32)
My friends surprised me on the morning of my birthday with yummy pastries and my fav coffee! I have the best friends!
