On the Fourth of July we hiked Multnomah Falls with Leire and the kids. It was super crowded by the time we were done (we got there early) and everyone was ready for a nap when we got home! But it was really fun and Leire loved it, too.

Multnomah Falls

Hiking with Bepo
A week ago my sister April (Bepo) took Jonah on a hike all by himself so they could actually finish (Click here for photos of a previously disappointing hike). They got all the way to the top (4.5 miles one way) and the first thing he said was "I wish Ava were here!"
I don't know about this, April, it looks like he could just fall off the edge and into the Columbia!

Hike #2?
April and I tried to take the kids on another hike last week...it didn't really work out due to traffic, time to feed baby, stinging nettle, etc...Jonah was so bummed! "This is the most HORRIBLEST hike I have EVER been on!"

A Little Bit O' Bonus Commentary
We went hiking last weekend with my sister April (Bepo). She called me and said, "I looked on the internet and found a kid-friendly hike. It's called Angel's Rest." Little did she know, that is where Jon proposed...the kids had fun saying "This is where Mom and Dadda got married!"
