Even More!

Well, can you believe it, since my last post both my dad Mel and my niece Sarah and my nephew Jayden have created blogs as well!
Such a great way to keep in touch. Ava was very happy when I told her about it. To quote her: "Yay!!" :) I agree!

Joining the Ranks

Well, it's a blogging generation and now my second sister JoAnna has succumbed at last (insert wicked cackle here) and joined the trend! Yay!! Check it out here. Pretty soon both Jon's and my extended families won't ever need to talk on the phone or visit anymore cuz we'll all catch up "virtually". (That would actually be really sad--do some families really do that?)
So I got to counting this morning and figured out that:
In Jon's extended family there are at least 6 bloggers...
In mine there are at least 5...and my dad has a forum for his buggy club...
Not to mention we have 2 blogs just for our little family (Jonah's and ours).

Time with Friends

Our friends Steve and Brooke stopped over for a night on their way home to Spokane.
Addysen (almost 4) and Paige (1) are their sweet girls with Brynne in the middle.

Paigey's Party

Jonah, Ava, Brynne, and I went to the Durias' last Saturday to help our friend Paige Elisabeth (ahem) celebrate turning the big fiver! It was a sunny and beautiful, albeit cold, day and the kids even got to play outside for most of the time.

Brynne soberly modeling the new sweater I just finished for her. I still need to add some snaps or a decorative pin (as the pattern calls for) I'm just afraid she would chew the decorative pin to shreds with those TWO teeth she has now...

A Little Bit of Boo

How cute are these smiles?!

She's 11 months now! Crawling all over the place, getting into everything, attempting to climb the stairs, grabbing everything off the floor and eating it (even lint!), and is bald but beautiful. She raises her arms and makes little noises when we ask her "How big is Brynney?", she plays peek-a-boo, she has almost 2 teeth, she grabs the johnny-jump-up and pushes it and says "Wheeee!", and is so all around rolley-polley-cute that I can't help slurping her up all day long.

8 Short Days

or twins...we get asked this all the time, especially in Portland for some reason.

April is moving to the other side of the world next month...one last visit before she goes.

Ava and The Joe

Here's a pic of Jonah at the Poor's house for a birthday party. Fortunately for him, someone brought an Xbox 360 and the game Marvel Alliance. Unfortunately for us, we didn't see him for more than five minutes the whole party!
Speaking of the Poors: I think Ava either really likes the name Randy Poor or she has a little crush. Jon gave her a branch off our Christmas tree (she was sad to see it go outside) and she named the thing "Randy Poor". That branch died and I threw it out, so he gave her another one this morning. I thought maybe she'd name it Emilie Poor or Autry Poor or even Clarabelle Poor. Nope.
It's "Randy Poor".

Too Much Star Wars?

When Ava got out of the car the other night, she looked up at the full moon and said, "Look, Mom, another world!"
